Overview

This guide provides the detailed steps to prepare your past GHG assessment data files and upload them to the Admeenly platform using an advanced module.

Key benefits / use cases

  • Complete history: Retain and view your client's past GHG assessment data.

  • Easy comparison: Prepare the data for year-over-year analysis and comparison.

1. Prepare the Data Collection File

  1. Duplicate the File: Open the blank data collection file and duplicate it.

  1. Populate the Data: Fill the file with your client’s data.

    • Important: Make sure to not delete any row, as this will make the file bug.

2. Prepare the Export File for Analysis

  1. Duplicate the File: Open the analysis file and duplicate it.

  1. Copy Data: Copy the data from the sheet named "Data Inputs" in your completed data collection file.

  1. Paste Data: Paste this data into the "Data Inputs" sheet of the duplicated analysis file.

    • Tip: Pay attention to only copy-paste the data from the table and not the whole sheet.

3. Upload Data to the Platform

  1. Create an Advanced Module: Create a new advanced module on your client’s profile.

  1. Add Data Collection URL: Put the URL of the data collection file in the "data collection template" section.

  1. Import Activities: Click to edit the module, and then click on “Import activities from a file with custom emission factors”.

  1. Upload the Export File:

    • Download the CSV version of the sheet "Export to SaaS" from the analysis file.

    • Upload that CSV file in the page that appeared after you clicked on the import button.

4. Check Data on the Platform

Go to the SaaS and check the data either directly in the module you created or in My Emissions < Carbon Footprint.
