When you start your EcoVadis assessment, one of the most important elements to keep in mind is your submission deadline. This deadline is set directly by EcoVadis and determines the amount of time you have to complete and submit your questionnaire.
At Greenly, we structure our entire support process around this date. To ensure we can provide you with high-quality deliverables and leave you sufficient time for review, we always aim to finish our work at least 2 weeks before your official EcoVadis deadline.
Where to find your EcoVadis deadline
Your submission deadline is clearly displayed inside the EcoVadis platform:
Log in to your EcoVadis account.
Go to the Questionnaire tab.
On the landing page of the Questionnaire tab, you will see your deadline date prominently displayed at the top of the page.
This date is the official submission deadline by which EcoVadis expects your completed questionnaire and supporting documents to be submitted.
Why your deadline matters for our process
Your EcoVadis deadline defines the project timeline we will follow with you.
All Greenly support activities (AI pre-filling, document audit, improvement recommendations) must be completed at least 2 weeks before your deadline.
These 2 weeks are essential to give you time to:
Review the final export of answers.
Upload everything to the EcoVadis platform.
Ensure there are no last-minute issues with documents or questionnaire entries.
What to do in case the deadline is too tight?
Ecovadis allows their clients to ask for up to 60 days of postponment.
If you think you need extra time to finish your Ecovadis assessment, make sure to ask for this postponement as soon as possible at the beginning of our project together!
